A cornerstone of AASAP/UK is providing opportunities to network and connect with each other. Members can expect several social engagements each year, sometimes combined with another of our events.

From Mental Health First Aid trainings to lectures and sessions relevant to our field, AASAP/UK works to provide professional development opportunities for members. These are typically offered for free or at a discounted rate for members.

AASAP/UK contracts with an immigration firm, Eversheds Sutherland, to provide advice and support to our members. This takes the form of a question & answer forum on the AASAP/UK website, as well as presentations delivered to membership by Eversheds Sutherland throughout the year. AASAP/UK also represents membership at a working group with UKVI to advocate for our interests and gather information pertinent to our membership.

AASAP/UK hosts a platform for job postings to be advertised to members, and for members to advertise positions to those looking for employment in our field.

AASAP/UK often represents members to professional organisations, governments, agency, and international bodies to advocate for our field and our students. As a large group of organisations and universities with similar goals, we’re able to utilise the strength of our collective voice for the benefit of the field.
